Ideal for multifamily, multilevel Type III residential construction, the patent-pending DGT^™ is a load-tested fire wall hanger with a two-hour fire rating. It's the first fire wall hanger designed to install with a power nailer, saving time before hanging drywall, which helps keep construction projects on schedule. This top-flange hanger provides space for two layers of 5/8" gypsum board (drywall) to be slipped into place after the framing is complete. The DGT has been tested according to ASTM E814 and is fire rated for use on both sides of the wall.
